We are lucky to have resources that our partners in the community can use. We are in a position to give back to a community that gives to us. We strive to make connections with organizations to make a difference in the future of our community. What we do here at Rochester Ford goes beyond selling a car, or truck, or tires. Channel One Regional Food Bank Rochester, MN

Channel One Regional Food Bank and Food Shelf, a certified member of Feeding America, is a non-profit organization that serves the mission to work in partnership with others to help feed people in need. Channel One is a proud member of Hunger Solutions Minnesota, a partner of the United Way of Olmsted County, and a proud founding member of Hunger-Free Minnesota. Today, Channel One Regional Food Bank serves seniors, individuals with physical or mental-health disabilities, working families and individuals, people in times of crisis due to job loss, medical problems or personal disaster, and food shelves, programs and agencies in 14 counties. These counties include Faribault, Waseca, Rice, Goodhue, Wabasha, Steele, Dodge, Olmsted, Freeborn, Mower, Fillmore, Winona, Houston, and La Crosse County in Wisconsin.

Ronald McDonald House Rochester, MN

The Ronald McDonald House is a ?home away from home? for families who must travel hundreds, sometimes thousands of miles to seek medical treatment for their children. The House provides shelter and support to families facing difficult days and long nights. Families who stay at the Ronald McDonald House share their stories and gain new insights as they meet children and parents with similar concerns. The House is a place to share hopes and dreams.

Seasons Hospice is a community based, non-profit organization in Rochester, MN. We provide specialized care to people living with terminal illness while giving support to their loved ones. The chapter is headquartered in Rochester, with a branch office in Owatonna and pre-positioned disaster supplies and volunteer resources located throughout the 4-county area. In addition to responding to single-family emergencies, the chapter has responded to several major disasters over the years, including floods in 1978 (Rochester and surrounding areas), 2007 (Rushford and surrounding areas), and 2010 (Owatonna and surrounding areas).

Special Olympics Polar Plunge

The Polar Bear Plunge - presented by Minnesota law enforcement as part of the year-round Law Enforcement Torch Run® events to benefit Special Olympics - is a unique opportunity for individuals, organizations and businesses to support Special Olympics athletes by jumping into frigid Minnesota waters. It consists of 16 different events that take place across Minnesota during the coldest months of the year. From January through March, our Plunge crew will be traveling around the state to 16 different communities with one goal in mind: raise funds for Special Olympics Minnesota!

St. Baldricks Foundation

St. Baldrick's head-shaving events began as a challenge between businessmen and have grown from one event in 2000 to over 1,300 events in 2013, raising critical funds for childhood cancer research. Events take place in pubs, restaurants, schools, churches, parks, malls, military bases, firehouses and any other place you can imagine.
